Biographies

Kristin Huffman is a Consulting Principal with MBankAdvisors and specializes in state and federal compliance issues and operational reviews. She brings unique skills to the firm because of her in depth mortgage banking industry knowledge and experience. Kristin has spent her career working for mortgage companies and then segued into consulting. 

She began her career as a loan officer, so she clearly understands the front lines of the business.  Subsequent to that, Kristin held positions as a Wholesale Representative, and a Vice President managing twenty five loan officers. 

She joined KPMG’s Mortgage and Asset Group and began consulting to many of the top 100 Originators and Servicers as well as HUD.  Kristin’s consulting experience ranges from reengineering, mergers and acquisitions, benchmarking, quality control and compliance, policies and procedures, outsourcing, risk management and litigation support.

Kristin has taught classes for the Mortgage Bankers Association and has spoken at industry conferences.

Upon leaving KPMG, Kristin became a Consultant for Lotstein Buckman LLP and iComply. 

Kristin holds a Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University.
