Biographies

Ms. Reed is a Director at MBankAdvisors and specializes in state and federal compliance concerns and operational reviews.

Prior to joining MBankAdvisors, she worked in the mortgage banking compliance arena for over 9 years, in conjunction with iComply, a mortgage banking database product, with in-depth analysis, of state and federal mortgage banking law. 

Ms. Reed has also been a Partner with KPMG Peat Marwick, LLP, in their mortgage banking consulting practice. In her seven years with KPMG, Ms. Reed’s clients included many top 100 mortgage companies. She assisted them with various projects, including reengineering, mergers and acquisitions, benchmarking, compliance reviews and litigation support.

She also has been a regular speaker at many industry conferences and has had articles published in Mortgage Banking, American Banker and other industry publications.

Ms. Reed holds a Masters in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s of Science from Tulane University, in New Orleans, Louisiana, and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Maryland.
